Medical Negligence Specialist Rachel Bowen Achieves Reaccreditation to the Law Society Clinical Negligence Accreditation Scheme

Davies and Partners Solicitor’s medical negligence specialist, Rachel Bowen, has gained reaccreditation to the prestigious Law Society’s Clinical Negligence Accreditation Scheme.

The Law Society Clinical Negligence Accreditation is a recognised quality standard for practitioners representing claimants in clinical negligence matters. The Law Society’s stringent rules require a formal application for reaccreditation every three years.

Being accredited:

• ensures that clients can identify Rachel as a legal practitioner with proven competency in clinical negligence law;
• demonstrates that she complies with a best practice quality mark that clients can trust;
• Confirms that Rachel maintains relevant standards of competency and expertise in the field through re-accreditation

Rachel (pictured) is one of four members of Davies and Partners’ dedicated medical negligence team to have achieved accreditation. Rachel is also a member of Action Against Medical Accidents (AvMA) and the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL).

Having worked specifically in the medical sector for many years, Rachel has extensive experience in all areas of high-value claimant clinical negligence actions and has been involved in the high-profile litigation brought against Solihull Breast Surgeon, Ian Paterson; Heart of England NHS Foundation Trust and Spire Healthcare.

Commenting Rachel said, “I am absolutely delighted to have once again achieved reaccreditation. The clinical negligence cases I deal with are complex and require an intimate understanding of the medical issues involved. The most important factor for me is to ensure that I guide and support each of my Clients through the litigation process and achieve a successful outcome for them. My Clients are often traumatised by what has happened to them and they need the reassurance that, having been let down by the medical profession, they are now in safe hands. This is why my Accreditation is an excellent guide for my Clients, giving them the confidence that, I as their solicitor, have the proven expertise to manage their claim
