AvMA Panel Reaccreditation for leading Clinical Negligence Specialist
One of the UK’s leading medical negligence solicitors, Ewan Lockhart from Davies and Partners Solicitors, is celebrating his reaccreditation onto the prestigious Action against Medical Accidents (AvMA) Specialist Clinical Negligence Panel for a further five years.
Ewan, who is Davies and Partners’ Chief Executive, also heads up the Firm’s renowned Clinical/Medical Negligence Department. He is a Member of, and an Assessor for, the Law Society's Clinical Negligence Accreditation Scheme and he has been a Member of specialist AvMA Panel for last 12 years. All members are required to apply for reaccreditation every five years.
AvMA is an independent charity which supports people affected by avoidable harm in healthcare; to help them achieve justice and to promote better patient safety for all.
With over 25 years experience in all areas of clinical and medical negligence, Ewan has developed particular expertise in more complex legal areas within the medical sector, focusing on cases involving Gentamicin ototoxicity, catastrophic injury and fatal accidents including advocacy at inquests.
In recent years Ewan has been involved in a number of complex and high-value claims involving the quantification of accommodation claims and indexation of periodical payments including indexation in foreign jurisdictions.
When confirming Ewan’s reaccreditation the AvMA assessors noted the very ‘positive feedback from the Firm’s clients which highlighted a strong client focus and responsive service’.
