Mike joined Davies and Partners in 2008 as a full time Senior Consultant, became Partner in April 2009 and head of the Matrimonila and Family Law department in April 2010. Mike specialises in matrimonial and family law with an emphasis on advising high net worth individuals. With over 25 years experience in his chosen specialism, Mike is a qualified Collaborative Lawyer which is an alternative route to avoid litigation.

Mike is a member of Resolution (formerly the Solicitors Family Law Association) and a member of the Birmingham Family Court Business Finance Sub-Committee and has in the past chaired Birmingham Law Society's Family Law Committee.
