Karen qualified as a solicitor in 1985 and joined Davies and Partners in 2008 bringing with her a wealth of experience in all areas of family law.

Having practised as a family solicitor for over 20 years, Karen specialises in divorce, civil partnership, separation and cohabitee disputes. She has particular expertise in financial issues following divorce including complex cases and those involving business assets, property, overseas assets and pensions. Karen has advised many professional and high net worth private clients.

Karen also has in depth knowledge of child related matters including residence/contact disputes, adoption, applications to remove child from jurisdiction and international child abduction under Hague Convention. Karen has represented a number of parents and other parties in complex cases in the High Court and was a member of the Law Society Children Panel for ten years.

Karen is a long standing member of the Law Society's Family Panel. She is also a member of Resolution (formerly the Solicitors Family Law Association), the national association of professionals committed to promoting a constructive, non-confrontational approach to family law matters.
