David Bain Associate, Matrimonial and Family Team
Since qualifying in 1980 David has practised exclusively in Family Law and private client litigation and he provides clients with 30 years of experience in dealing with a wide range of issues from the straightforward to the highly complex. He has acted for clients in the full range of Family cases including contested and uncontested divorces, Nullity, financial and property applications and disputes about arrangements for Children. He advises on pre-nuptial arrangements, separation agreements, and family disputes about wills and inheritance and he has a particular interest in issues concerning children born through surrogacy having acted for a family in a leading case in this developing area. He is committed to conducting cases in the constructive and non-confrontational way required of members of Resolution (formerly the Solicitors’ Family Law Association) and works hard to achieve the best possible outcome as quickly and economically as possible.
