Davies and Partners Solicitors in Birmingham celebrated its first year in its City Centre offices with a 'taste of success' wine tasting experience for its clients.

Over 30 guests attended the evening which was held at the firm's offices on Paradise Street. The wine tasting event was presented by Birmingham's fine wine and spirit merchants Connolly's, who provided guests with an interesting and highly entertaining insight into the world of wine.

Davies and Partners has been in operation since 1988 and has two other offices in Bristol and Gloucester. The Midland's Office was for many years based in Solihull but the firm decided to return to the City Centre in 2008. The prestigious City Centre location provides space for expansion for staff and improved facilities for its clients.

Commenting on the Wine Tasting event, Managing Partner of the Birmingham Office David Stokes said, "Clearly it has been a challenging year for all legal firms and their clients, but our relocation to the city centre last year was a very positive move for the firm and in the face of the recession we have increased over turn over by 6%. We felt that the first anniversary of the move provided a good reason to celebrate being here and to toast continued success in the future for us and our clients."
